Privacy Policy

Who we are

This site is operated by Pulsar Industries, 249 County Road 214, Liberty Hill, TX. Questions about this policy, or a request about your own data, go to info@pulsar.industries.

What we collect

We collect three kinds of information, and nothing beyond them.

Inquiry details you type in. Your name, email, an optional phone number, an optional company name, the product you picked, and what you tell us about your project. If you built a configuration on the site, that build is attached to the message.
Chat conversations. Every message you send the on-site assistant is saved with the reply, the page you were on, the product you had selected, and a scrambled form of your IP address, on a private server that is not reachable from the web. This is kept whether or not you go on to submit the inquiry form.
Basic usage data, only if you accept cookies. Which pages were viewed, what kind of device you used, and how you arrived at the site.

Cookies and tracking

Nothing that sets a tracking cookie loads until you press Accept on the banner. If you press Decline, or ignore the banner, we set no analytics or marketing cookies at all, and the site works normally without them.

What the site needs to work. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser so we do not ask again. If you build a configuration, it is stored on your own device so it is still there when you come back or move to another page.
Google Analytics 4. Loaded only after you accept. It tells us which pages get looked at and roughly where visitors come from. We do not send names, emails, phone numbers or message contents to Google.
HubSpot. Loaded only after you accept. HubSpot is where inquiries land, and its tracking cookie ties a form submission to the visit that produced it. The inquiry form itself works even if you decline.

How long we keep it

Chat transcripts are deleted thirty days after they are written. Inquiry records live in our customer system for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep normal business records, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting on our Google Analytics property.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers. It reaches the service providers that run this site for us, namely HubSpot for inquiries and Google for analytics, and the people at Pulsar who handle sales and service. We will disclose information if the law requires it.

Where it goes

We serve customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Our service providers store data in the United States, so information you send may be processed there.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@pulsar.industries from the address you used, or include enough detail for us to find the record, and we will respond. You can change your cookie choice at any time with the button below.
