Guide
Resilience that does not depend on a fuel truck reaching you.
In long outages, generator fleets fail at logistics. A battery staged before an event carries critical loads straight away and recharges from solar or any available supply. Because PulseTrek is made in Texas, public buyers can meet Buy American Act requirements.
Start by separating what must run from what would be nice to run. A water utility's telemetry, pump controls and chlorination dosing are critical; office heating is not. A clinic's vaccine fridges, lighting and records system are critical; the staff kitchen is not. That separation usually shrinks the backup load to a fraction of the building's total, which is what makes battery backup affordable.
Then decide how long the battery must carry that load before help arrives: 12 hours, 24, 72. Multiply the average load by those hours and add a margin. For anything beyond a day, plan the recharge: a solar kit, a small generator on a slow schedule, or a charged swap unit delivered once roads open.
Finally, rehearse it. Stage the unit, connect it, and run the critical loads for an hour on a calm day. Most backup plans fail on a missing cable, a mislabelled circuit or a transfer switch nobody has operated, not on the battery.
Questions answered
Power for services that must not stop in an outage: water, telecom, healthcare and emergency services.
Yes. Systems are designed and assembled in Texas and eligible under the Buy American Act.
Plan for the realistic time to restore supply or deliver a recharge, often 24 to 72 hours after a major storm, with solar or a generator extending it further.
